LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A mask mandate will soon take effect in the Las Vegas area which requires masks to be worn by employees in Clark County while they are inside the place they work.

Workers are already masked up at Max Pawn. The pawn shop’s policy comes as Clark County commissioners voted to bring back a mask mandate on Tuesday for all employees working indoors amid rising COVID-19 case numbers.

Max Pawn Owner Michael Mack says he’s all for it in the name of protecting everyone.

“We want to stay in business. We want our customers to be healthy. We want our employees to be healthy,” he said.

Mack says his shop has been proactive in masking employees and says masks work on keeping his workers and customers safe.
